5. Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengeance

Από τις πολύ καλές κυκλοφορίες των Judas Priest πίσω στα 80's,

έρχεται το "Screaming for Vengeance".

Μετά την μεγάλη επιτυχία του "British Steel" πριν 2 χρόνια, (μεσόλαβησε το "Point of Entry" ενδιάμεσα) οι Άγγλοι metalfathers επιστρέφουν με αυτό εδώ το album.

Τι έχει το "Screaming for Vengeance" ? Την φωνάρα του Rob Halford φυσικά, συνεχή κιθαριστικά solos που διαδέχονται το ένα το άλλο με τις υπογραφές των Κ.Κ. Dowing & Glen Tipton και κλασικά κομμάτια που χαρακτηρίζουν την μπάντα όπως το "You’ve Got Another Thing Coming" και το "Electric Eye" που μαζί με την μοναδική εισαγωγή του "The Hellion" χρησιμοποιείται μέχρι και σήμερα στα setlists των ζωντανών εμφανίσεων των Priest.

Ξεχωρίζω επίσης το γρήγορο "Screaming for Vengeance" , το "Fever" με το ωραίο ρεφραίν, τα "Bloodstone" , "Devils Child" , "Riding on the Wind" και το πολυ καλό "Prisoner of Your Eyes" με τα όμορφα pre-chorus μέρη που ο Halford γίνεται ιδιαίτερα εκφραστικός.
